Have spoken with a former Abbey player today who has spoken with someone from Abbey and there was no mention of any problems. They played on Saturday and there hasn't been that much rain since then.

 

By the way if you want to wind up one of their players go for Lee 'Chalky' White. Apparently he scored a cracking goal on Saturday, lobbing the ball into...his own net!!
