Disappointed with the Margate FC entry on Wikepedi

The bloke who is correcting your edits Frankie is ChrisTheDude, a Gillingham fan with a strong interest in Margate FC. He's using Jeff Trice's history site as a reference point for all things historical, and if it's not mentioned on there, he can't allow it to stay on the wikipedia page as essentially it could be made up. Chris has put a lot of time into getting our article up to the Featured Article status which in itself gives us quite a bit of exposure given that we are only one of about five English football teams at that status. Too much messing around with the article and unsourced additions that are left could result in a request being put forward for our article to lose its Featured Article status. Which would be a shame considering that at the moment, only York City in Non-League share that status with us.

To clarify, for an article to be given Featured Article status as ours is, everything has to be referenced to a source, so if Jeff hasn't mentioned it on the history site, then it won't stay up.

BTW, I did quite a bit of work on the article before Chris offered to get the article up to FA status back in the summer, and he informed me of the necessities to get the article upgraded.

Fair point Paul and would not like to rock the boat too much in that respect.

Some of what I said can be obtained from Council minutes from that time concerning the blocked merger idea. The bit about the name charge will only appear in Margate FC board minutes from that time and not sure where they are. Additional at least 3 of the people involved with the meetings are now dead(nothing suspect before anyone says anything) Being on the board at the time I was party to this information hence why I put it in. I had hoped that by not naming names and just generalising the matter I would OK.

Frankie, maybe if there's anything that's not on Jeff's site (specifically the vast club history page) you could ask him to add it to there, and then we could try and get it on wikipedia by referencing to that. Think that would work.
