Sorry fellas but nowdays does`nt even get close to the early nineties,or before in the ESL for hardmen.Eton manor had a goalkeeper called Terry Reif and a game against Halstead at Walthamstow avenue got stopped when a fella run on the field with the biggest sword you have ever seen with Terry climbing over the wall only to return a smash the bloke over the head with a scaffold pole.Southend Manor`s Jason Cole was a complete loon as was Nashy and i think a bloke called something white at Canvey who`s son i later coached in Chelmsford nick.Woodford had a prize fighter called Sackville at Centre half and before that in the Les Cobb era was Eddie Sinclair. They trophy has to go to Barry Goldman of Eton Manor. At half time he drank what he though was some lemon out of one of the old plastic containers only to find out it was bleach. An ambulance was called and they gave him a stomach pump in the dressing room as he started to throw up blood.Yes you guessed it he got up pushed everyone out of the way and ran straight out onto the pitch.

Cider, what was the name of that Canvey player?I might have coached one of his sons that was in the same Concord side as Big D at 15.To me the old man looked a nutter centre midfield player that could play a bit.. grin

If we are going back to the 90's we have to be talking Paul "The Plank" Evans.

I would say the hardest player is George Alder, i used always take the piss out of him at Tilbury and he always threatened to kill me with an Overhand Right.

I actually believe that if it was a MMA Fight i would beat anyone in the game though, but boxing is for commoners!!

Jenko you under qualified twat!!

LOL
