NGU 1-0 BOOKHAM

A great battling performance almost saw Bookham steal a point against a strong looking North Greenford.

 

Struggling for numbers again with only 11 each, fit and availible players for both 1st and reserves.

 

NGU played some good fottball and this was matched by Bookham who road their luck a little with shots hitting the post and crossbar. The passion, effort and commitment shown was excellant and this had kept Bookham in the game and gave them the chance to nick a point in the last 10 mins but sadly was not to be.

 

NGU deserved all 3 points in truth but where not able on the to make the game comfortable.

 

Also well refereed by Alan Morley, we would like officials like him every week. He did make one howler, tried to play advantage to Bookham and thought the NGU centre back would cut the ball out but he missed it and Bookhams Jordan Buche was about to run onto the ball, clean thorugh on goal, he blew up. Straight away he's put his head in his hands and apologised.
