Eastside Urchin
At least i stopped you two from wittering on about the rights and wrongs of war. I am sure most of your fans are probably happy you have retired if this is the sort of crap you come out with to justify a resignation.I bet they would much rather prefer to talk about football related matters

chris blanc
No one was wittering about the rights and wrongs of war, not that you'd be expected to have a clue what anyone with half a brain was discussing. It is however, nice of you to care about the wants and needs of those on our forum. and with that, kindly s@d off to help fill those needs
Harry J Allstars
Actually mate I'd say none of our fans are happy I've "resigned", as opposed to retired. Now go to the Canvey Forum and gloat about still being in the FA Cup.
FleetFanatic
Wtf have I been missing? Where's the post that caused all the fuss? Just so I can catch up 'from an educational point of view'. So you've resigned from a football club's Trust Board as a result of comments you posted that weren't football related? BustaGut
The trouble I have with the Soldiers that fight now and out of choice is that this will give the impression to kids that guns are cool and those who use them will be honoured. This is not the same as soldiers in WWI and WWII. We need to make it clear to kids how gruesome war, guns and death can be. By applauding those coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan you just glorify war and guns. In my opinion video games and films give the more of a impression that to kill someone is fun, or ok if you think your in the right.More than seeing injured and or dying people on the news. John Pearce
I have obviously missed something here, what the hell has all this got to do with supporting Ebbsfleet United. Contrary to what the Labour government would like, we do not yet live in a police state, everyone is therefore entitled to their opinion on any subject, whether everyone agrees with that opinion or not. It is not yet a crime in the UK to have an opinion that is different to everyone else. I have to say from what I have read I have some sympathy with some of HJA's comments. I have often made comments on this forum, under one guise or another, many of which have obviously not been agreed with by other forum contributors (HJA included) it has not stopped me coming back, neither will it stop me going to Stonebridge Road. I don't know whether HJA has resigned, or was forced off of the Trust's board, but it does look like they have lost a hardworking and committed board member - either way it looks very much like "cutting off your nose, to spite your face"
eufckev
Where's this Hornchurch (sorry, AFC Hornchurch) gypo come from? Is he an Ebbsfleet fan, but in disguise. Please, kindly p155 off.

I've actually got two replies to this one. 1) Now who is attention seeking? Oh look at me I can speel! 2) When criticising an error on the forum you need to have your own error to reciprocate it. Although none of the criticism aimed at me actually said that was the problem, just that "I bet you couldn't do that job, Harry" I let my fingers run away with me when trying to make a point. Had I not made that comment then I think things would have been okay. Well while I say that I'm not so sure but had it not been for that comment that I made then I wouldn't have been apologising for anything. Nobody made me resign from the Trust, but when I heard some of the fans reaction on Saturday and was told what some people had said I thought it best to distant myself and my comments from the Trust. Pagey
but whats with your signature Harry J Allstars - The Monster. Runs over old ladies, steals sweets from children, slags off war vaterans and makes fun of the dead. If he was to threaten people with violence then that would be okay. chris blanc
You also seemed quite bitter about the trust and their chances of replacing you for someone who hadn't been pushed
Harry J Allstars
Did I? I wouldn't say that, it's more of a case if I have to keep my opinions to myself then I'll leave the Trust. I'm not a martyr though.
WelshBob
I must be a bit thick as I don't get your second point. Also, I don't know what a war vateran is. The odd error is o.k. but to have one in your signature, well, what a f^ckwit.
