Thanet managers disease

I read that Jim Ward has just had another bout, insofar as he has signed yet another striker in King from Whitstable.

In all seriousness it does seem a good medium term signing and Ramsgate do seem to be collecting another squad of good younger players (all forwards) to develop.

Short term, it looks a bit odd as yet another striker at Ramsgate, when they have even more defensive injuries than Margate.

Neither Trott not Ward seem bothered about their defences.

As previously posted, Trott and Ward both seem obsessed with signing forwards this season, and whilst i'm not too familiar with their players and positions, that must make for about 8 strikers at Ramsgate-Barron,Bagley,Holden,Ball,Schulz,King,welford etc.

How do you keep that lot happy ?

Will the likes of barron,Holden be happy to stay in reserves-maybe they might just aswell stayed at margate as are they any better off than 12 months ago

We have 9 defenders we brought in Nick Davis from Fisher and Sam Vallance from Dover for our defence.

We have quality in depth in our first team squad still with the injurys in our defensive area.

Bagley plays in the midfield for us same as Warren Schulz, Ollie is a CB.

Holden is only just coming back, Barron isnt really ready just yet Stuart Vahid is out on loan at Sittingbourne, Welford and Ball are our 2 main strikers and Ball can play on the Left Wing as well.

I make it 5 now 6 forwards and we needed another decent goalscorer and Stuart King is our man.

Holden, Barron & King i make that 3 forward signings isnt that obsessive you can add Bagley to that list if you like.

Still you are right How do you keep that lot happy that is something Jim has to think over, our sqard is young but strong.

We have to wait and see, but we are starting to slip a little of the pace and i think Margate are too by the looks of it but with 2 amazing loan signings for this level of football Ryan Peters & Karle Carder-Andrews you should be expecting more.

Ramsgate's squad are growing each year and Margate's are getting slower and weaker you have some very expereinced players but are they past their prime and is Trotty getting the replacements that can fill in once they have gone and will those replacements do the job.
