A big blow is an understatement! Look at our next top scorer... 1 goal, unless we bring in a ready made, proven (at this level) striker we're buggered! Let's face it we can't afford to bring in a decent striker and we were struggling to score goals before and now this.

to be fair i dont think fleet are rolling it but as a club have better prospects at this point in time.

Straight into the squad for the FA Cup as well which would rub a bit of salt in the wounds. Gives us big problems up front.

Fleets approach came in about ten days ago and the player was notified last week. He still played in our FA Trophy match which he did not have to. Having spoken with Terry today, it was a difficult decision for him and I am sure we will get him back one day.

i feel we should wish him well,i dont think there should be any animosity he has served the club well has he not.still has to look out for himself and his football career.

agreed its a big blow but you can't really resent him for it. I'm sure the Andy Sinton connection will have had its attractions too for Terry as a massive Spurs fan... :)Ah well...life goes on

well, when I see something positive I will stop, but all I've seen is poor performances on the pitch and hypotheticals, hot air and spin off it

what would be the point? I'd only get sworn at again for having the bare-faced cheek to criticise the untouchable Slough Town FC. So as my opinions are pretty much not welcome, and my cynicism obviously shared but not spoken, I'll keep schtum from now on. Now keep playing nice lads, get behind that team and maybe we'll crawl up the table eventually
