Glastonbury 2003

Recommended Posts

I will be going this year as I did last, should be jolly good fun, need a new tent though, I am planning on going with about 6/7 friends, but I'd have to meet up with you crazy guys....

Anyone who has not been, thoroughly recommend it, it is more than just the music. The sheer size of the site is enormous, you only really appreciate it when you look at all the camp fires in the evening. There's a continual noise and stuff going on usually 8 or 9 major things going on at anyone time. There are very few events anything like this, it's unique in character and size.

Will be good to catch SFA again, think they're putting out a new album soon too. Well I hope they are.

Any more news on Glastonbury yet? Are you still planning to go to the Mean Fiddler to buy tickets EFMTFTV? I don't think they'll allow you to buy more than a few in one go, just in case you are a tout!

I've booked the wednesday - monday off work, so we'd better still be going. Do the tickets generally sell out on the first day they go on sale? It would be very annoying if we couldn't get tickets.

I have some bad news. I will no longer be coming to Glasto <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I'm really disappointed but the person who I was gonna go with pulled out and decided to go to Reading instead. All my mates are going so I'll probably go there instead. Don't worry, I'll make sure I heckle Nickleback and Metallica and if I see MAD I'll ...er,...say Hello!

Anyway, perhaps I'll see some of you at my party next week!

On sale this very morning at 9am, the slightly cheaper tickets are supposedly on:

at £105 as opposed to aloud.com at £107, though they are the official outlet. A programme is included in the price, but not car parking, that's an extra £5, which you need to book at the same time. You will be able to buy a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction.

Slade will only be there if you're good Turkey. I could see them doing a turn on the Sunday, crazy things happen at Glastonbury. Rolfy will definately be there.

On a more useful note, I may have some spare tix, if anyone's interested PM me.
