we are playing some great football at the moment but hope we don,t do a chipstead at the end of the season but we do like chipstead have the points on the board what does everybody else think

Chipstead won it easily enough in the end, and so might merstham this.

 

Narrow wins of just four and two nil over bottom placed minnows Dorking doesnt suggest a walkover season, will Merstham be promoted if they win the league do you know?

Have seen Merstham just the once this season and I have to say they looked good. If the other teams in the league are not too careful they could be out of sight by Xmas. Ground is fine for promotion as far as I can see.

 

Just a shame about their manager Hi Mick

I thought Merstham were certainly the best team in the league so far. Strong in every dept. Good forwards, solid at the back and good engines in midfield.

Def my tip for the league even at this early stage. Xmas period matches are always a level playing field and quite often a stumbling block for the top teams.

we have had eye1 posting on our website making allsorts of coments about our club this bearing in mind eye1 is horley towns chairman i think he should worry about his own club after seeing the sacking of last years manager on u-tube by video phone message and poor results they have had

I am not having a go, it is only October and you think you have won it already, I hope you do win the league and go up and I am pleased to see that your youth setup is coming along and am sure you will benefit in a few years.

 

I know Martin very well and he knows I have nothing against Merstham I was even cheering you along at Redhill.

mr chairman from horley or eye 1 if you know martin very well i cannot see why you are having ago at our youth set up we have only just started this because we think it is important to get the ground and 1st 2nd and 3rd team in place the youth team will grow and as you keep saying we to will have lots more local players IF THEY GOOD ENOUGH as for winning the league mick and his team are very aware there is along way to go and we know there is along way to go i also think that horley will stay up and that will be good for the local teams but don,t think redhill will
