Grays had a bit of a clear out today and put Craig Mcallister and Andy Sambrook on the transfer list.I think Craig might be the one to help the strike rate were having and Stambrook is a proven class defender I bet his departure was a bit of a shock for Grays Faithfull.Craig did well for us in his previous loan spell and is a bit of a handful with an eye for goal.Any opinions?

I happened to like Craig, and we were unlucky to miss out on extending his loan when he was sold. (to Forest Green wasn't it?) I believe he may have had a future here if that had'nt happened.

He got recalled by Stevenage before going to Woking and then Grays. I'd have him here too.

Always ready to be pleasantly surprised of course but I doubt that we will get anyone else in unless we ship a couple out first.

Would McAllister really be the answer to our goalscoring problems though? I'm not convinced that he would although he did impress in his loan spell with us. As Slarti says though, I'd expect us to have to release someone if we were to bring in another player & would Liam really consider dumping Chukki or Raffa at this early stage?
