Has anybody asked any of the shops in town to put one of the fleet posters in their windows?

what we need is a voluntary marketing team. Supporters who would take it in turn to maybe miss a game with the view of promoting the Fleet at local events. Greg, our marketing guy, a great bloke that he is, probably works mon - fri 9-5 and luckily gets to see the team on matchdays. It's the home matchdays when a marketing campaign in town would work best. For example..Gravesend Riverside Festival, Charlton have a stall there. Police Station open day...Charlton have a stall there. St Georges Centre sometimes have local amatuer groups promoting some show or another. That should be our domain. I for one would be more than prepared to help. Although I may miss a game my help could attract 10 newbies.

Why dont the drummer lad, and the lads that like to have a sing, meet up before each home game in Gravesend town centre, and walk through wearing your colours,may grab some interest, maybe you will called a bunch of twats to, but will get publicity each week.

If everyone who wears club colours to the games was to wear them around the town centre every Saturday it would at the least bring the club to the attention of the local population and might well attract a few more to the ground.

Other than a decent draw in the third round of the FA cup it would be the best publicity the club could get and wouldn't cost a penny.
