Actually, on reflection, I like Welsh people.

 

My husband is half Welsh. And in my single days I dated a Welsh vet. Lovely, he was, and exceptionally good at rugby and with sheep he had a nice touch. My daughter studied at a Welsh University. And Taffy is a straight up guy.

 

Yep, my instincts don't lie. WelshBob for manager. Sorry DJW, but you are way off in this post.

Sir Bob says it how he see's it and lately its been sh1t. Lets not sugarcoat it. I have watched us at Dover & ashford and in the years ive watched Margate this is the most despondent ive been. Its not Trotts fault its the years of crap weve endured, hopefully it is now changing. Starting with the five aside, i will settle for midtable this year. Aiso a good cup run, if he cant produce next year then adios.

I expect RT to to 'produce' this year.

 

I was never expecting a top five, but we should never be out of top half as we are now.

 

Every club has injuries so that is no excuse.

 

I expect our budget is stiill' above average for the league' even if it is down on last year-so that is no excuse.

 

i expect the manager-after being in the job for over 18 months- to produce a balanced side and ensure he has reasonable cover for injuries and suspensions-and thus avoid not winning for 6 league games on the trott-and getting just 3 points out of 18 .

 

RT has my support, but he has to produce this year-not next year.

 

Again, i do not expect to win every game, i do not expect top 5; but neither is bottom half of table and almost bottom of form league acceptable.

 

Frankly, whilst i want him to succeeed -starting today-if he loses today and Tuesday, he will have proven himself incapable of managing/coaching a team and needs to be replaced.Our season will be over if we lose today and tuesday.

 

Only the most inept managers do not win for 9 games;and he has still got reasonable resources at his disposal-apart from defence which is his own fault for not sorting it in the summer-but can he organise and coach the still reasonable resources to success.

I want him to prove he can ,and i really want him to succeed.

Trott is a likeable guy but I would say at the end of the season he will be gone unless we either get in the play offs or a very good F A Cup run

 

A new manager will have the 5 a side, money, and be at the held of a potentially successful club
