How does Trotty Get the players up for the weekend?

 

I am guessing their would have been spotters from Hitchin reporting back on our performance,

 

Or was it a tatical move by trotty, play the crap long ball, make us look weak left/right back, giving the opposition a false sense of security.

 

 

I am hoping that we are basing our season on a good FA Cup run, but in a way we are lucky to be here, after our come back against Fisher.

 

For all Gate supporters, if we are looking to still build this season and finsish mid table, lets at least have a good go in the FA Cup, or the other FA comp...the vase is it?

I honestly think the guys will be up for it on Saturday. Am not saying they will win but I wouldn't be surprised to see Hitchin back here at HP on Tuesday night.Trotty MUST know that a continuation of last night cannot be tolerated.Even the players we have available SHOULD be able to muster more than they are doing right now.Who knows it could be Trottys last game for all we know,especially if we do go down without a fight & without getting a result of some kind...at least a draw.

He really does need to prove his worth after the last few games & getting the players(whoever they may be)heads up & ready & prepared to give their all on Saturday is his one main task this week.

I think he'll come through this,succeed in doing just that & I can see the players responding in a big way.

Spot on Cookie. I think it's make or break time for Trotty. Perhaps his biggest test as manager yet to rally the troops for Saturday which is a massive game. Lose and its season over and no money in the coffers. Win and we are 1 game from a high profile money spinning tie with Gillingham or Brighton perhaps? Not expecting us to pull up any trees in the league this season as we lost some quality players that have not been replaced but also expect much better than last night and at least a top half finish!

A good peformance will win us the game on saturday, but if we lose, but played well i will be frustrated that we lost but happy that we played well as it shows improvement and that we are moving in the right direction.
