There were plenty to choose from, even the Carshalton supporters couldn't believe how good we made their team look. Now I know we have a big money game next Saturday and nobody wants to get injured, but come on lads you could have made it look better than you did last night. Poor old Scottie must have felt like he was being fired at by some rampaging foreign army, poor sod. When we did get a chance to score (and we did have half a dozen chances) nobody seemed to be able to kick a ball straight, the Carshalton goalkeeper could have been on the beach in Tenerife for all the work we put him too.

 

People went a long way in very bad weather (when we left Thanet) and paid quite a lot of hard earned money to watch you:

I agree with AB. Trott clearly at fault for the first two goals. But not only that, and I have said this before, his man management skills are awful. He berates the players in a foul way on and off the field - it would have made me think twice about playing for him.

 

In the second half he was having a go at Louis Smith, trying to get him to move infield. Smith ignored him. Enough said.

To be fair, imo and despite his apparent errors last night;RT is still our best central defender and i would rather have him in the team, than not in the team.

 

Problem is, that does not say alot; and RT's position is the manager whose job it is to get a good central defence and had he signed one decent experience central defender in the summer;(nothing wrong with Young but he cant do it alone and willl get injured/suspended) instad of going mad signing forwards and wingers; we would not have this problem and he would not have to be playing himself.

Trott He is far too slow these days and gets beaten everytime and i think he should have fully retired. He is a bit like Edwards in his last few games for the club, which was when it was evident that Edwards playing days are over and i think the same can be said with Trott tbh.

 

Overall we have not really been that good for a long while, stretching back to last season. Somethings not right imo.
