Also disturbing to read the club arent insured, as they cant afford it.

And in case we forget amongst all this Dorking are at the foot of the table.

Perhaps you would like to rub some more salt into their wounds TSF.

Camberley went through all this a few years ago. The police caught the little sh1t that was responsible. He admitted to breaking in over 14 times in a matter of months. 20 hours community service and a £50 fine. Should of been given a fecking good kicking the kent.

Krooner, might I ask if as a mtach day official you got a phone call on the morning "witherington on sea FC here, games off tonight, lads have flu.." would you check it out or just not turn up?

Doesnt this sort of info have to come via the official club communication channels? Fax Email registered phone number?

I realise a polite phone call early would be appreciated, but checks would be made wouldnt they?

I cant believe the other side would have accepted a postponement on the day of the game via an uncheckable phone call.

If a club tried to call a game off due to illness I would check it out but if it were for inclement weather I probably wouldn't. would seem prudent in light of this that the league make it a rule for officials to call their relevant secretary be it Ref or Asst Ref to confirm the game has been postponed.

Despicable thing to do I might add frown

to me Bjr its the drivel, insinuations and halftruths from DFC that get printed in the Ad without question.

Its DFC ltd trying to make out there is some grand scheme and vendetta against the club, when the huge majority of its problems are self inflicted.

Also the postings you made bjr about the hoax calls "its all subjudice now" and then its plastered all over the ad.

Mis-representation goes with the turf.

"We are also on the verge of the biggest club sponsorship seen by Dorking FC and hope to announce full details in the next week.

"The sponsorship will benefit the first team, but also the youth section of the club.

"There is a malicious vendetta against Dorking Football Club, and we will have to take action. This football club has hundreds of players in it, including little girls and boys,so this has got to stop.No one is going to get control of this club or frighten us."

That's why DFC are leaving it to the league and F.A. to sort out.

This Vendetta must have been going on for years and years then, as fences have been smashed up, club getting broken in to, Club coach getting torched.

These things have been going on for years.

Good Spin Collins, good spin.

Isn’t there only 3 teams within Dorking, 1st team, Under 18yrs team and Dorking Girls. Must big squads of players of around 80-90 players per team to have hundreds of players at the club.

It is a sad world we live in but when things look tatty and run down, youths seem to think this is a green light to make matters worse as they see it that people don't care about the state of thing so why not give something a good going over.

The board are of the opinion someone stole internal documents, so it could be the vandals that broke in the other day that also made the calls.

In all probability bunch of bored youths who hang round Meadowbank and Churchstreet carpark, who smash up the carpark ticket machines as reported in the same paper

so I think DFCL are off the mark and way out of order when they say this:

"There is a malicious vendetta against Dorking Football Club, and we will have to take action. This football club has hundreds of play-ers in it, including little girls and boys,so this has got to stop.No one is going to get control of this club or frighten us."

The club has in season 2007-8 re-entered an U18 side in the midweek floodlit Southern Youth League, the side to be managed by Steve Upfold, a step seen as extremely positive not just for the club, but also for local talented youth players who will now have the chance to be against the likes of Conference South Lewes’s best youngsters. The club continues to focus on youth football, with the club’s successful girls football teams, Dorking Girls FC, being complemented by the Dorking Colts team and by the growing affiliation with well-respected local youth club Brockham Badgers FC who compete from U7 to U18 in a mixture of the Horsham & District, Epsom & District, West Surrey Boys and Tadworth district youth leagues and who have over 350 boys and girls from Dorking and its surrounding villages on its books.

Are you suggesting DD that the club is mis representing the number of players and "little boys and girls" at the club?

Theres a first team, u18, and a girls side.

Then theres brockham badgers a completely separate and succesful youth football club for boys and girls.

So not only has Bookham passed Dorking in the league pyramid Brockham has got the lead on the youth side.

I now see what the club meant when they say they have to take action.

could be anyone with access to that APM but the club are clearly looking closer to home, and believe the documents were stolen

Mr Collins said: "The person who has done this has taken internal documents about our football league.

"They phoned the referee on his old number rather than his new number which indicates they took the number off our old league documents."

I assume the ref answered his old phone number somehow, did he suspect anything....

If you have the surrey hand book Refs details are in this so someone could of just used that and did not know that the refs had changed numbers.

Just a stranged thing to get stolen, would they not be kept at home or in that portacabin used for the board room.

I think they should call Inspector Morse in.

Forget to mention the bit about hacking in to the website in July.

This one is interesting as I remember speaking to the old Administrator back in Mid September who said it they could still log in to Dorkings Website at that point as an Administrator for the site.

So if someone tried to hack in the pass words would of been changed, but this person could still log in under the details they had.

So did someone really try to hack in to the website?
