A resounding result.

For those people who tried to subotage the result by phoning the three match officials just after 11:00 am this morning that the game was cancelled, might I tell you that both the Surrey FA, Surrey Police and our legal officer have been informed of the facts !

DFC Web-Site Match Report:-

Dorking saw off a battling Knaphill side on Tuesday night at Meadowbank in the First Round of the CCL League Cup

CCL First division side Knaphill did not make things easy for Chicks in this game, but Dorking were always in control and the result was no real surprise. Manager Tony Webb will now be looking for back to back wins in the home league game with Egham on Saturday, kick off 3pm

Captain Paul McCormick opened the scoring for Dorking by way of a 6 yard header from a good free kick on 14 mins for his third goal of the season. However, Knaphill then scored against the run of play and a keeping error then put the hard working visitors ahead before half time. The lead was shortlived as Dorking stuck back quickly - Joshhua Smith scoring on 35 mins - leaving scores all level at HT.

Dorking stepped up a gear in the Second half and had 3-4 chances to take the lead until some excellent work by Marcel Dennis in the 75 min put Dorking 3-2 up. A late pen ( great cross by Billy Ramsey - handled by a defender) in the 84 min wrapped it up - taken by Marcel Dennis who smashed the spot kick into the roof of the net to put a $ore accurate reflection on the result and secure the win.

Blimey, won and came back from behind, bet Knaphill thought it would be a walk in the park, especially as they have won more league games than they have lost.

Who would know the match offiials names and numbers for a particular match prior to it being played? Would have thought that would narrow down the perpetrators of such a truly evil act? Could only really be a current club official one would think.
