Another game where we've only just reached double figures on the foul front - yet 3 bookings.

 

Certainly didnt sound like much of a shout from the Shots fans for the penalty either from what could be heard on the commentary and based on Lord Websters comments Liam wsnt happy with that decision or a possible offside in the build up to the second.

 

Still, it seems to go without saying that we play well at Aldershot, but always lose, so it wasnt unexpected.

 

Our lack of goals is still our problem though - only 7 ses have scored fewer this season, and 5 of those are the bottom 5 in the table. Defensively, only 7 have a better record than us though, so its swings and roundabouts to a degree.

 

Lets just bounce back on Saturday against Droylesden, who seemed to suffer the "bounce factor" tonight losing 3-0 at home to Farsley, having somehow beaten Oxford on Saturday.

 

The bottom 3 already look in real trouble - 9 points off the 5th bottom side and even if Northwich survive the Winding Up next week, they'll do well to avoid relegation.

We controlled parts of the game, BUT we couldnt finish for toffee and as a striker it frustrates me massivley!

 

We did hit the post early doors with a barrett one-on-one which cant be faulted, but we broke away more than once and tried to pass the ball in the net when any team would just shoot and score!! gggggggrrrrr

 

Penalty was a joke and a quick check of the date did reveal it is 1st April today.

 

Oh well on to Saturday and finding a goalscorer.
