Inter Club Quiz Night

Just received this mail today, a bit late, but not sure if anyone is interested in attending on Friday over at Leatherhead? I can send you Pete's email if you are interested.

 

"FINAL REMINDER TO ALL CLUBS AND SUPPORTERS

On friday evening October 12th we will be staging the first Inter Club Quiz Evening at the newly re-furbished Grove.

 

The event will be a sports based quiz with football as the main theme naturally and teams of four from your club are invited to enter.

 

The maximum number of teams permitted will be 16 and as of this morning there are five spaces still remaining (as long as those

who have promised attendance actually do show!); your involvement will last the whole evening with at least six rounds of questions for all teams.

 

You may wish to pass this to your supporters or your own committee/directors might fancy themselves as quiz specialists. It's open to all.

 

Entry fees are £20 per team and that will include a full buffet at half time; the Tanners fully licensed and tastefully refurbished Grove bar will be open throughout and there will be a trophy on offer plus medals. The Tanners newly affiliated youth section featuring Bookham Colts have already entered four teams and there will be other teams from the "home" club including one led by Dave Harlow. Kingstonian (2), and Carshalton Athletic led by new manager Hayden Bird have confirmed their attendance and

we currently have possibles from Staines Town and Merstham.
