He's trying to win back his fans as well:

"The chairman has offered those fans who made the trip to Swindon free travel to Carlisle and tickets for a home match as a way of compensating them for Saturday’s woeful performance."

I also recall Scally mentioning that a new manager would have been announced last Friday or last Saturday.....????? Is there one yet?

Me and a guy at work were talking about this today, oh how we laughed.

It's a bit like wrongly convicting someone and then apologising by prolonging their sentence.

I notice he's doing free travel to the team with the further distance, somewhere that requires a 6 o'clock or earlier leaving time to get there for mid-afternoon. Wake up, Scally!!! Offer fans free travel to somewhere closer, then more of your club's fans will go!

The thing I dont get , is that a majority of those who went Saturday are season ticket holders , so what is their gain. I have been offered aticket to Millwall today , but as I replied, I had a poo before I left home and had no need for it.

And as for free travel , only the hardened will be up for that trip and I dare say a fair few will make a weekend of it so again not a big gain for any loyal supporter. Get a grip on reality Mr Scally. No one is intrested in you , or your plans. Give the supporters an early present and leave.

My pet gerbil has more grip on the modern world then you and he was eatan by my cat several years ago.
