It's a record

The longest run without a win 8 Games.

On this board many of us have discussed the defensive formation but it is my view that we should be looking at our strikers. In those 8 games 11 goals have been scored of which 2 have come from the strike force.

It is a fact that often they are chasing long balls driven out by the defence but today, especially in the first half when Bastian had almost complete freedom down the left side, there were enough balls into them in the box and how many shots did the Aylesbury keeper have to save?

We need a better strike force it seems to me that the defence conceded goals as the ball keeps coming back. There is nobody up there, it appears, who can hold the ball whilst the midfield come forward.

You are so right steph no punch up front at all ,Changes have to be made and quick in the forward line . we rely on the prize money and this year we havent earned enough . Good to see C H back in goal , If he had been v Hillingdon we might still be in the cup.

Sorry! We rely on prize money! How on earth can a club rely on such revenue when it is an unknown? We will be saying that we lost out on the £1.0M prize money from the FA Cup final next because we lost to Hillingdon Borough.

Attendance yesterday was 202. OK, some teams would love to be watched by 202 people. However, we have been told that the club's budget was prepared with attendances needed of approximately 300.

And if you budget on the assumption of 300 fans per game, would one also be assuming that we'll be top of the league too!!!
