fund raising / please all help ?

If everyone has seen the Slough observer today ..will now understand that the club has no magic wand (with a wealthy benifactor) we need to stand on our own 2 feet...

 

Gary has mailed out over 300 major companies in Slough over the pass month...we have had a few letters back , all saying sorry they have no funds to support our football team, even though we were offering many ways they could help us in terms of sponsorships etc...

 

So it loks like we as a club and supporters a like , will need to dig extra deep to ensure we continue to be able to support our team..so if anyone out there can do their bit for Slough Town FC..everything will be grateful...

 

Yes its a begging request , but we all need to help and if anyone can asked the compaines they are working for to see if they can sponsor us in a small way, this will go a long way to helping the Rebels over the next few months until we can get the green light to the intended project, of a new home and a stdium for slough.

Just telling everyone we have no sugar daddy and need to raise our own funds...which by now everyone should know...

Anyway, a simple way the club can raise money is to get people to sponsor players kit - check out the programme, there are lots of gaps.

I think with finding funders it is more effective on a one to one basis, if people work or know people in the company, works best if they hassle them.
