More houses = more council tax payers.Thats all that most grabbing councils think about.Quaility of life,or joined up social thinking comes a poor second,when they are desperately trying to balance their books through mismanagemnt and incompetence.

I see the poisonous pen 0f Mrs Jose O' Ware is at it again in the Advertizers letters section this week.This bloody woman seems to spend her life opposing the progression of any sort of sport or sporting facilities in the borough of Enfield.What a proud claim to fame.

But she seems to be using the facts and not being blinded by the name of that lot like many others are.

She will blindly and rabidly block ANY application for sporting facilities being built in the borough of Enfield,whilst saying nothing when big business concrete over the rest of the borough.

 

Maybe others are against the plan simply because of the name of the club submitting the proposal? O'Ware just wants to make sure any club or sport can never prosper in Enfield.I wish she'd just concentrate on losing her deposit in

general elections,and keep her nose out of other things.Enfield as a borough and a Town has been ruined for ever, through mass migration and mass over development,and then poeple start getting huffy about someone wanted to put some football pitches in a field.Enfield was lost to the urban jungle several decades ago.Its a bit late to get picky and selective and try to preserve something that no longer exists.It seems Supermarkets, housing developers, or fast food chains can ruin the look and ambience of any section of the borough at will,but the thought of sporting facilities being built fills people with dread.Its insane.
