Spurs are our closest premier league club. 6 miles between.

 

The council own the land on th ground we currently play our home matches at.Brimdown Rovers SSC own the long term lease on the site.ETFC are currently in negotiations with the council/Brimsdown about aquiring a 50% share of that lease.

Took son to watch Arsenal v Sunderland at Highbury (Xmas 96...FA Cup replay I think)...how far is your ground from Highbury?

About 11-12 miles between Enfield and Highbury/Emirates.

The ground you took your son too has now closed and Arsenal have moved about a mile from there.

Great atmosphere there....took a punt and turned up on the day to find a sellout. Steward in White Coat at entrance asked what we were going to do. Head back to Hartney-Wintley (??)..he told us to wait...guy in a suit walks out and gives me two tickets for 22 quid total...ended up sitting 10 rows behind goals at Northern end...great day..Arsenal 2-nil..I think..early onset Alzheimers cutting in.

Nowhere in the Spurs documentation which was posted through my letter box on Sunday does it say anything about the QE 2 Stadium.

Nope, can't see anything on the application online. Doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen though, much happens between the submission and the decision. Personally I don't think there will be anything on the QE though.

the public can see the plans tonight evidently. not sure where though.

If there is a special 'exhibition' it is probably at the Civic Centre. However, all planning applicatons are in the public domain and can be viewed any time, by appointment, at the Planning Department in the Civic Centre.

 

You can also view them (usually slighlty abridged) online on the LB Enfield website.

The application by Spurs for training facilites in Enfield,is totally seperate to Spurs considering the option of relocating the home stadium in Enfield.Although another rejection of the first application,could be the end of the home stadium option.Or maybe talk of a ground relocation to Enfield may simply be a ploy to force Haringay council to approve increased capapcity and public transport links at White Hart Lane.Or a way of making Enfield council more keen on the innital training ground plan.
