Gutted bigcry How on earth we ended up losing to that rubbish over the course of the 2 ties I do not know. Another 2 sloppy goals given away, and yes you would have to say that the 2nd was a keeping error in the mould of Paul Robinson last night. The 1st came from a free kick out wide that was not a foul in the first place.

Can't really fault anyone for their efforts on the pitch. A bit more composure and quality was needed on the ball in general, and we went to the direct route far too quickly in the second half instead of getting it down on the deck and building the play.

It baffles me why Stevie V was only given 5 minutes at the end of the game? He should have been brought on a lot earlier, and that is avoiding the fact that he should be starting as the arguably the best player on the ball in the club, along with the likes of Crace and Campbell. Without a doubt he has that touch of class that can unlock a defence. Enfield Town play better football with that lad in the side, and that seems to be what the fans are craving at the moment.

Has to be said, it was one of the worst on the pitch brawls I have ever seen - Jones did some shoulder throw on one of the Hillingdon players that was like something out of the WWE, and many a punch was thrown on either side!!

PS: The only real plus we can take from the game is that we don't have Hillingdon's keeper!!

Why if we knew there was problem at Bullsmoor lane did we park the coach there for a couple of hours?

One for Jim Cuneen - Have we ever arrived late for a match away from home FA Cup match and then won it?

Hillingdon had and new clean clubhouse which we were not allowed into in case we dirtied it. The outside was a dump. The gate normally charges £5 and £3. Last night we were charged £8 and £4.

Why do we always lower our game according to the quality of the opposition? We played a park team last night and played like a park team. Two seasons running we have been dumped from the FA Cup by a Ruislip park team. And this was supposed to be our strongest team ever!

If I never see Richard Hayward in a town shirt again I would not be too disappointed. He may have come to us with some great recommendations (including Tottenham) but he lost the match for us last night and for a second time in a row got booked for play which had town fans fearful that we were about to go down to 10 men. Maybe he is trying too hard but I'd make Charlie number one and bring back Ashley Harris as his number two. Yes I know I'm an Ashley fan I always have been!

The goal kick taken by Hillingdon when our number 1 was almost at the half way line.

He made one cracker of a save that I saw however. That save kept us in the game.

Whoever is our number 2 goalie will have few games and it is, in my view, impossible to keep 2 good goalies happy in non-league football.

Why must every little thing develop into an immature wrestling match. Just what is going on with our players that they feel they have to join in scuffles.

I only saw an hour's play yesterday as I was caught in traffic in Bullsmoor Lane. From what I saw I thought that we were unlucky however Shankly said, "The harder we practice, the luckier we get."

Now six games without a win. Charlie must be in goal on Saturday and I dont think Andy Edmonds adds anything to our game. It has to be said our strike force is not scoring goals. I heard yesterday that Jim was looking at a centre half. I actually think our back line played well yesterday it is our midfield and forward line that needs sorting. I have not been impressed by Andy Jones in the last two games, Rudi has touches of brilliance but cant quite seem to string two passes together. I think that Steve V would be better in place of Rudi, drop Bryan Hammett into midfield to work with Stevie and get another striker to partner Ricci Crace.

If AJ does not perform in first half bring Rudi on from the subs bench.

Stephens had an excellent game yesterday (for the last hour at least)

BTW the gate was unmanned when I came in for nothing.
