Rob Howarth by a street.

Not sure if its worth doing a poll.i.m.o.but maybe(to be fair), & if there are any other nominatons,I may do one tomorrow.

Cant see the result being any different mind. He just gets better & better! Well played Rob Howarth!

Agree with Cookie re Rob (tho I am biased as sponsor him). June has nicknamed him Major General with all his shouting and encouraging he did as captain last nite, great to see. With a bit better luck he could have scored a hat trick in 2nd half.

In actual fact, if you look at expenses of staging the games against attendances, I wouldn't be surprised if the teams that are knocked out sooner stand to gain the most .... by losing the least!

What a way to run the game, eh?

Maybe we should be grateful then to the likes of Ryman who sponser the league itself. (am i right that this is their last season sponsering the league itself-another good reason to get out of the league this season if we possibly can !!)

Makes you wonder where football would be wthout sponsers

MM, it was:

Bowles

Hindley - Smith - Moore - Summers

Peters - Carder-Andrews - Morris - Axon

Haworth - Watson

Young I think came on for Hindley and went to centre back with Smith switching to right back. Moir came on as a straight swap for Watson - Moir's preferred position I understand. And Vanhinsbergh was brought on in his favoured left wing position when Axon was subbed off. Unfortunate for Axon to have to play on the left wing, but I guess Trotty wanted a look at Peters.
