lol, this cup doesn't hold much interest for me. I didn't really care much when we lost to Ramsgate last season and i won't care much if we lose tonight, although a win would be good for the fringe players and will show that we have better strength in depth then what we think.

Jim Wards already told his boys if they win this Compertition there all going to Disney land and they get to have breakfast with MICKEY MOUSE and all his mates. He also told them he would be on a Scouting mission while he was there .

Problem is, that by losing tonight , the fringe players don't get another chance to get the experience that this type of game offers.

 

Sounds like Mr Patterson misled RT somewhat, when he said he would play a weakened team !!

RT is watching this game and win or lose he will see the players that can offer him somthing,so tonights game gives him that if nothing else.

I notice from the team sheet,Trotts made 9 changes from the

starting line up at Fisher.

If the other clubs are playing a near strength 1st team in the 1st place then there is only going to one result and that would be a win for the opposition realistically . But you can look at it another way and say the fringe players have had a good expierience in playing against a ryman Prem 1st team .

In contrast to Gate's nine changes, I think East Thurrock have made only 3 or 4 changes from their starting line-up at Hastings on Saturday.
