Tonights Matchday Programme

Please accept my apologies as there will not be a normal full size programme tonight. The courier company our printers up in Leeds used to be put in bluntly f***ed up big time and at 4pm today our programmes were in Manchester... There will be a much smaller version as a replacement. Again apologies for this, Glen Riley.

I thought they were printed in Reading?

 

If the couriers f*cked up can we assume they are liable for re-imbursing us the cost?.

Spoke to Glen last night and he said yes.

He also said last nights programmes will be available for people on Saturday, after they've been on their little holiday.

Glen scouted round various companies to do the printing for the programme and it is the same company who print the programmes at Staines Town. They are able to print on better quality paper with better printing for a lower cost that the previous company we used. I know Glen has certainly been impressed with the improvements in quality on that front. The other benefit is of course the variance in front cover each game which will allow us to keep up to date pictures on the cover.

 

Speaking to Staines, they assured us they had not missed out on a single programme since using the company, so we were confident of doing well this season.

 

We will not be charged for last nights programme and copies will be available on Saturday for anyone who wants one. Could I also say thank you to everyone who threw in change last night for Glen's last minute effort which raised around £70.

Apart from yesterdays [****!!****] up, the better print quality and the changing front cover shows it was the right decision to move companies.

Well I thought yesterdays programme was still better than you get at a lot of clubs! Unfortunatly I won't be there on Sat to get hold of a proper copy :-(
