nearly 50 years since our wonderful victory over Headington United (now Oxford United)

Not to mention five away victories which included Bromley & Gravesend, culminating with Walsall at home and one away cup tie too many when we lost 6-1 in the replay at Fellowes Park - 1955/6.

 

And we are now on another run of aways.

Just 41 years since the memorable 6-4 to gate in the monsoon after being 4-1 down at the break. 2000 there too and boy what a scene at the end with swamp! invasion and fans stuffing soggy pound notes down Gate players socks. Awesome.
