Does not indicate a guilty conscience. Just following pre-match instructions but you already know that. It seems that you only want some kind of reaction from me.

There was nothing wrong with the 2 goals that were disputed on the day. If your Club was not happy with my performance then you could have put a letter into the League. Instead you still want to give your opinion on this forum regarding the goals. No one is interested.

It's history. Accept it and move on.

My missus had to do the bar last home game and she won't be there this weekend, so me and a couple of others will probably muck in.

come on Wader the ritz it may not be but there aren't to many local clubs offering two seasons of ground share.. at least not without a 10k a season fee!!!!

Yes but you could have questionned Mr Clement's decision and pleaded with him to do a half on each touchline as opposed to both on the far side of the pitch, why didn't you.

Actually I thought it was a law of the game for linesmen to change sides at half time, a bit like tennis players after a certain number of games and after six points of a tie break, how can it be fairer to both teams if they stay put

There is always the option of changing touchlines or even changing from 'right-wings' to 'left-wings' but this never arose during the half time break.

Why would I need to plead with Mr Clement?

Was there a problem during the first half that warrented a change of touchlines by us?

I don't understand the point that you are trying to make.

It's up to the Referee.

So why did Mr Clement ask you to do both halves on the far side of the pitch, are you sure you didn't ask him to in order to stay well away from our bench

Mr Clement wanted the senior Assistant Referee 'bench side' throughout.

I have no problem in being 'bench side' as this was the position I had the first time I visited your ground nor do I mind being that side of the pitch in future visits.

I merely observe that perhaps you should have your own staff on hand to maximise your own revenue. That's your call though.

As the saying goes, what goes around comes around - we will not forget our friends and Bedford FC have been effing brilliant to us. We will do everything we can to help our friends in the seasons to come.
