Often when I was busy I used to wait until half time to come into a game.

The club is our shop window and we should not turn potential customers away.

Now answer the second question FJ. When do you open the gate to allow people to leave?

Didn't realise it was mine to answer. Early in the second half seems to be the norm doesn't it?

And are they potential customers or freeloaders?

Of course ,its easier said than done, and the scheme would involve the gate 'helper' not be able to watch any of the actual match.Maybe the 15 Board members could agree to man the gate for 2 games each a season. grin

A good idea, but it won't happen, maybe "Supporters" would like to offer their services

I still maintain people coming back in for the second half should have to show their tickets.

There is consistently 30 - 50 more in the second half, they should at least pay half price
You sanctimonious twerp ,you dont pay any rent and you expect me to pay to watch the second half or in this case the last 35 minutes . The day you pay a fair rent(say 10 grand) is the day i start to pay admission.

BR witty?? Must have missed that one. He's not even a decent wind-up merchant.I see he also failed to mention the lovely playing surface he witnessed on saturday. He probably thinks that happens for free as well.Keep colouring in those hand painted Brimsdown Rover signs old mate. They really give any first time fan a flavour of what awaits them inside the bar.Its not often you can say that a club and its local residents fully deserve eachother. hairout

I think BR knows that full well.He also knows that the ground would return to a desolate empty patch a ground with a battered fence around it,IF we left. He's just on a wind-up because the tiny bit of authority he has now got,is being threatened by our professionalism and desire to take Brimsdown out of the dark ages (or at least out of the 1970's).

You'll be masturbating over the pitch in 20 years time I bet telling everyone who will listen that its a billiard table and you'll still probably wont be paying any rent then either , problem is your boys dont exactly set the world alight on it. " 10 grand " Is it really that much today ? How much is it worth to have a clear conscience ? tongue

Talking of a clear conscience.Having 3 or 4 games a week on a pitch someone else had paid good money to maintain and prepare. Then using all the new facilites and seating that someone else had paid for and installed,AND THEN asking for money for the privilage of doing so. How do you sleep at night,BR?? arschkalt
