It's all getting a bit quiet on here

Has no-one got anything to say abou Canvey on the pitch.

 

It worries me that this reflects a general malaise in our support.

I think it's just these forums in general. Most of the other forums seem a bit quieter than usual.

 

The usual faces don't seem to be posting as much.

I think, our support is fine maybe like most things this site is cyclical and we are at the point in the cycle when Canvey supporters are in transition. Those in their late teens are spending their evenings elsewhere, the younger lot have not quite found their way here yet, they will!!!

 

The same is being seen at matches with the quiter crowds, where are all those drums??????????

 

Give them to the little kids to bang, I would rather hear the little kids making loads of noise than have those drums in cupboards!!!!

 

Also you have to take into account the large numbers that have been driven away from this site by a certain bully!!!

yea well said. i would quite happily adopt a drum for a few games. i dont think our support has dropped tho from what it was last season. ive always said this and i stand by it that we need to get out of this division!

I agree with that. Think it's a case of that some of the more interesting and entertaining posters are not on here as much. Don't think that has anything to do with the forums layout etc, it's just a case of some people's circumstances have changed (not got internet access, moved out of the area etc)

I think the content of most forums tend to be driven by a couple of individuals, if they are not online as much then it tends to get a bit quiet on here.

Have to say I don't think these forums are as good as what they were 3 or 4 years ago but you tend to find periods when it gets a bit quiet on here.

I think we need a good push for promotion this season. A place in the Ryman Premier and matches against some of the old names we recogonise should get the blood pumping again.

Well i'm coming back on here a bit more now i have the internet again and i'll be coming over to the Lane a bit more now too. Well as long as i can keep a job so i can afford to come over! I've just come back from Sheffield so i'm looking to come over as i've missed quite a bit!
