strikes announcement

Recommended Posts

The ESL players Union in conjunction with the ESL managers union and the Chairmen ones have announced 24 hours strikes on the week-end of the 5th and 6th of october followed by a tuesday 9th october.Rolling strikes will follow after that date up to christmas. The respective union members will refrain themselves from swearing, tackling, cheating and abusing referees for the duration of the strikes. The aim is for the Unions to deprive the "company"of the major source of income,i mean fines. Thus resulting in the "company"going bust, selling their assetts and going back to the good old days of pure amateurism were meetings were held in a tiny shed at the back of the chairman garage and everything was done as an unpaid volunteer. Some "company"people that have never done a real day work in their lives, let alone kicking a ball, will have to go and get a real job,ie postman, pest controller like kaiser, butcher like onebreast and plasterer like Smallsy grin

Further announcements will follow but there is indication that managers will have to referee their home matches, without cheating in fear of retaliation on away matches. yay
