One of the players never given a fair go at Town.Always having to justify his inclusion in the team,whilst other didn't have too.Similar position to Defoe at Spurs.

I would rather have had Deano in the team on Tuesday than either Edmunds or Nay for that matter.

Hi,

 

I just like to say thanks for all your support over the past years that i have been with Town, Enfield Town holds a special place in my heart as you could all tell when i was playing,i wish everyone good luck for the rest of the season, i will miss you. My move wasn't easy "I just wanted to play more football and felt I could give more" I know it's just another footballers cliche, but thats the honest truth.

There maybe rumours surrounding my exit, but I want to take the opportunity to set the record straight, as my exit should have been dignified and respected,

I called Jim and told him of my wish to leave and reason, he agreed and said he will sort out the formalities, nothing else was said.

As most of you will be aware Jim has been quoted saying "I've spoken to Dean and told him that he's not going to get in" ....... "I know he's got his supporters at the club, but we've go a lot of young players to come in like ******* , and i dont want people taking up space in the squad and standing in their way"

Frankly this is rubbish as none of this was said to me, i was never given a proper chance and as long as he is at the helm Town will never exceed to their full potential. I could say more but that would make me sound bitter..lol

I felt i needed to defend my name....God Bless you all

Another quality player leaves. It is quite concerning to see another (after Chopper) apparent disagreement over what has been said by the management. To quote the Stranglers "Something better change"

With the lack of genuine wide midfielders in the squad.It has astonished me that Dean wasn't a regular this season on either flank.That bloody wing-back system strikes again.Yet another quality winger leaves becasue of a lack of regular starts.

Best of luck Dean (except when you play us!). I didn't see you play very often since my move away, but what I did see I liked.

 

I think it's very decent of you to come on here to explain your position: some might disagree and say that things between amanager and player should be kept there but it's good to have rumours quashed and frankly I lke to hear the player's point of view.

I heard the occasional whinge that Deano had gone walkabout but hey any player that can come off the bench for a few minutes each game and still outscore the centre forwards in a season can't be all bad. You're a good goal poacher shame others were wearing the wrong glasses! All the best.

That depends on who's form you go by, if it is ours you may well be relegated but, if we are to go by Brentwood's form (a good win Vs Harlow) we may well be promoted!!
