Not sure how much merit i the first post as whilst he was out of favour early on-unfit-has he not now started in the last 2 games and scored in both.

Having said that to answer above post, i reckon amnswers are:

No (i hope)

Yes

No.

I reckon club and player parted at right time.

Peaked last season, and like CK moved Braithwaite on at right time, i think for danny to go,was beneficial to Margate in many ways.

Personally i expect him to be at Dover sometime before July 2008

If that does transpire, i think i will conclude that RT has gone completely mad.

Hockton was great for us last season, but peaked.he was also lucky with injuries last season.

What happens about the newly installed work ethic.

Priority must be a central defender surely

As you say, we don't need a 30 goal striker, if the likes of Howarth,Side and Pinns can get 15-18 each.

I must admit though, Haworth and Hockton together would make an interesting partnership with Side or pinnock behind them.

Having said that, strikers win matches, but defenders win you the championship.

(just look at all the tables-the teams at top, inevitably have fewest goals conceded -not necessarily most goals scored ).

'Don't concede the nil'.

Concentrate on getting the defence right.

I wonder about the sanity of some of the people who post on here. Someone who scores 40 goals in a season is lazy? Well, I guess he doesn't run around like a headless chicken, wasting his energy chasing lost causes (that is always the easiest way to win popularity with fans - run around a lot and look aggressive - it doesn't matter if you are crap).

Yesterday's man? I'm not sure what this 'opinion' is based on, unless of course you have watched all of DH's games this season (which you haven't). Four goals despite starting only seven games at a higher level would suggest otherwise.
