Maidstone Saturday in FA Cup

They've lost 6 from 8 in the league and conceded 21 goals.

We need to try and put our league form behind us for this one and go out and "enjoy" ourselves. This is a squad of players who have regularly performed spectacularly in adversity.

Clean sheet Saturday. Lets fill it with goals!

Maidstone are at home to Boreham Wood tonight in the RPL. Could be an interesting scoreline and a guide to what we can expect on Saturday.

A win for 'Wood will push them up into second place.

I think you guys may have under estimated us when the draw was first made!

We're beginning to find our feet at this level, and despite what the results may tell you we generally prefer to play away.

There'll be a big Maidstone following, and with your gound setup we will make a hell of alot of noise.

I'm really looking forward to the visit it just might be a cracker!

We haven't underestimated you, we are just saying that to avoid a Blue sq South side and get drawn at home is, a good draw and what we wanted.

I was at your game last night Stoneman, is it always that cold? I was freezing.

I thought Maidstone worked very hard and I can see that you are clearly upto the pace of Ryman Prem now. Your three up front looked sharp, will the gillingham lad play Saturday?

Our ground is good for noise, so it should be a good atmosphere, and it wont be anywhere near as cold as it was last night, (I hope)

That was warm for Sittingbourne last night! I think as someone who has been Town Crier, you can see what a complete vacuum of positive thoughts/noises Sittingbourne is, thus the complete lack of any atmosphere. Added to this 20 years out of Maidstone has left fans completely disullusioned and downright depressed at Bourne Park.

However, we do love away games and new grounds, and will hopefully bring 200+ up to Billericay, despite only getting 307 at Bourne Park last night. Our ethos this season really has been if were not gonna bother singing at home we will make sure we will give it a good go away from home.

With your whopping by Boreham Wood and our win against them, i am certainly more hopefully of getting a result at New Lodge than a week ago. Looking forward to what should be a good match.

PS Luckily for you and sadly for the the lad on loan from the Gills, Luis Cumbers, has not be granted permission to play in the FA Cup.

I think a reactivation of the Shoe Army is called for on Saturday.

Yes Town Crier it was it bit nippy but as another Stones fan said it does get alot colder (Sittingbourne seems to have its very own climate)

I'd rather you didn't mention Chelmsford and not for our result, we actually won there in the cup last year.

No, its the rules that get me, can't smoke in the clubhouse (fair enough) but you cant take the plastic glasses outside, cant get a pint in a proper glass but you're given a botle of becks (how does that work) cant take a burger in the clubhouse, anyone know where you cant eat crisps?

Has anyone told them this is non - league?

Anyway looking forward to the visit, be warned we're a very friendly bunch, but I hope you've got plenty of bar staff, we dont like waiting too long for beer!

See you all Saturday

We will be in the Magners corner with real bottles and a real glass of ice.

And I wonder how much of a coincidence it was that the "Blue Army" were almost silent (i.e.no singing) for whatever reason at the last three league games which we lost ? Come on, let's be 'avin yer !!!!
