A win tonight and results go our way we can go up to 6th...I can't see it happening though. Anyways we really gotta sort it out tonight and put on a decent display.

On the squad size issue, to be fair Trotty has not had a lot of luck with injuries. Haworth (and Jackson although he is back now) became injured early on, so did McKimm, Yianni didn't even get on the pitch, and Coleman/Akinde were called back to Ebbsfleet; so that is 5 or 6 players that we have lost which Trott could not really do an awful lot about.

However, I do agree suspensions need to be sorted out. There needs to be a system put in place to make the players pay (perhaps literally) for suspensions occuring, as they are hampering our chances. It may show their passion in the Gate shirt by playing for the cause, but there are other ways to show it than ending up missing games!

All clubs get injuries.

We were no worse/no better than anyone else.

I still think RT did a rreasonable job pre-season-to be fair -where he has signed players-Jay,Haworth,Harte etc. they have been decent signings.

Where i strongly criticise him though is the imbalance he created with his summer signings.

All it needed was an extra midfield player and an extra defender and one fewer forward and we would have a balanced squad which could easily have covered the injuries and suspensions.

Then ,there would have been no need to loan signings.

As it is, RT is supposedly looking for players now-too late-the best have gone.

Had we had the right balance of players early on,we would have at least 4 more points, be challenging for play-offs and be getting better crowds to pay for it.

It was obvious so early in pre-season aswell.

Apart from which, Jay must be dizzy not knowing if he is in defence/right midfield/centre midfield. We can't expect to get the best out of him if he not in a consistent position.

Midfield seems to be the current problem area- then what happens in defence when we have a couple of injuries and Skinner suspended-thats bound to happen next. But you should be anticipating it pre-season.

Its never perfect, but some things were so blatantly obvious avbout midfield and defence. It could have been afforded aswell by getting a better balance.

Watched training recently its awfull, at this level it needs to be structured and directed correctly.

What bages do the guys have certanly not at Level 3 a minimum at this standard, Ramsgate are using a Level 4 Coach!!!!!!!! a Level 3 at reserves and Level 3 at Youth Development.

They have a better squad in depth and good unit disapline. It is a matter of time. We will be No 2 in Thanet

There are TWO sets of T.O.T.S Ian. Being called that dosen't mean one is better than the other.Apart from that I must admit your lads are looking to be the better team at present,result-wise anyway.

You know full well its the end of season standings that will decide who is the better of both T.O.T.S. If you end up higher than us at that point in the season then indeed then & only then can you claim to be the better of the pair.I think you are getting carried away with yourself at the moment(but again,I must admit, you have every reason to feel that way at this time). Its still early days my friend!

I'm sure it will Ian, but alas I cant see that happening today somehow! A decent draw & at home too & another victory should be on the cards for you today. It is expected & thats the word that might come back to haunt you later in the season "EXPECTED".Complimentary, it has to be said to be EXPECTED to win.
