Ive heard theres problems with the south east corner of the m25 today, so travel to folkestone may be a prob. Would advise any travellers to leave early. Any chance this rain will cause a postponement? Theres been tornadoes in some parts of the country apparently.

We are leaving within the hour from sunny SWF ! But that's to make a bit of a day out of it and see the sights, whatever or wherever they may be in Folkestone... Apparently this morning a lorry shed its load of golf balls all over the approach lanes to the M23 at J7 causing an 18 mile tailback into Kent, but last I heard the mess was cleared up and there was a mere 15 mile queue back to J4. We leave at J3 for the M20. No probs. As for the weather, god knows...

You should be fine, believe Folkestone has had new drainage put in.

The only tornado's around tonight will (i hope) be BGW and JoeF hitting the Folkstone defence.

Best to avoid M25. From the tunnel go onto M2 and continue to junction5 and take A249 to M20 then continue in Folkestone.
