We have a few teams involved but why not come on down and have yourself an entertaining evening. The bar will be open.

 

Doors open 7.30pm. Quiz starts 8.00pm - £5 for adults, £2 for children.

Congratulations to "Middle Eight" on their victory by a solitary point last night - next time "C & K taxis" won't be holding back at all And well done to "The Chucklebus" team who joined us on 261 points as well. Most of all a big for Gazza and Emma for organizing an excellent night - they can't have slept all week preparing that lot !!!

You just can't write last night as far as the comp went...pipped at the post in the last round.

I've not posted anything about this night but I would like to thank those that provided the raffle prizes, those who took part and those that helped out (Mr. Nixon, as usual, a stalwart behind the bar).

 

We raised over £330 for the club.

 

The next Pop Quiz will take place at the end of November...It'll be the Xmas Turkey Trot.

 

Keep your eyes peeled for the Ladies Bingo night at the beginning of November. This night is aways a sucess and great fun.

To maximize the potential participants, it should be General Knowledge, Music is great for those who have an interest in the subject, but for a wider audience there needs to be something for everyone.

It was a good night BTW, and very well organized.

Yes please general knowledge would at least give SOME of us a chance at hitting maybe 3rd last.

 

I thought it was very nice for our neighboring table to share their last Mars bar with us.
