My reply to Michael on another thread(Fisher).

I reckon he'll give Morris a full run out on Saturday Michael. He has done well in his short times on the field so far & probably deserves a start too.Am slightly concerned that Trotty might fall back on Jacko to take a midfield slot. Wrong tactic in my opinion as Jacko is invaluable out on the wing,but needs must I suppose & I reckon thats what Trotty will do,mainly because of his heading ability & experience. Morris,Jay & Jacko in midfield is my guess.Axon will probably get a chance again out wide & he will,I feel improve a lot from his first full start last week. Watch out for him tomorrow.I just have a feeling that he will create headlines on Sunday.(remember that cross from him from outwide on the left earlier this season?).

If Rob is fit then of course this could change things in the line up up front.Then we have the option of giving Watson a go up front again also.

Side I think will take up the right sided role whatever the line-up.

I saw Hendon on Wednesday in their FA Cup replay at Aveley (Steve McKimm was in the crowd by the way). Hendon were 2-0 down in 15 minutes, both a result of slack defending. But they got one back just before half-time and that was the turning point.

 

Going forward they look a decent side. I liked little Wayne O' Sullivan (who played wide on the right) and Brian Haule up front.

However, they looked dodgy at the back.

They conceded early goals too didn't they CE?. If we can continue with our early goals as of late then this might well be a deciding factor maybe.Come on Charley (or anyone for that matter),hit em' hard & hit em' early.

spot on...the best form of defense with hendon is attack...preferably down their left hand side where they are very very suspect...they mugged us at claremont after we battered their goal and I'll be surprised if you don't beat them tomorrow....but they are dangerous if you sit back...

Love it Ian, just love it!!!. I seem to recall you saying something to this effect once before & we came good. Lets hope you're words give us another victory & you do the double eh?.
