Making EUFC money

We have had a few posts about what is costing EUFC money so I thought I would share my idea for making money.

 

I know that the club shop already sells wool hats and baseball caps but with winter on its way and with Stonebridge road being the coldest place on earth when the wind blows I think the shop should extend its range of headgear for those of us who are follicaly challenged.

I love the Russian Ushanka fur hats, they are normally made of rabbit fur but I was thinking that we could get some Ebbsfleet ones made out of fox fur which would be as close to Fleet red as we could get.

I also thought we could have a badge on the front which says....EBBSFLEET, WEAR THE FOX HAT?

Now, also as a follically challenged person, I'm inclined to agree with you on the hat, but maybe the wording needs a little work done on it....

Good idea, but also because we would no doubt have animal rights activists on the clubs back and they would start creating protests outside the club and articles will be written in the papers....and as a result we would have mass free advertising!!

...I think the wording was suppopsed to be a bit of a joke! I thought it quite funny given all the angst over tne name change. Better to be able to laugh at ourselves?

Better still - get them to protest INSIDE the ground; they could pay admission that way! Another moneymaker!

Maybe would should stick to Liam Daish's suggestion and give his granny a good shoeing before every home match, surely someone would object to that.
