Don't think I'll make it..but give me a crack at some of the questions after the event...promise I won't Google them.

I established and was President of a Rugby Club in Sydney as well as running the Wagga Junior Basketball while my kids were playing...being a school teacher I was given the job of organising/running Trivia (Quiz) nights...good fun(and fund raiser) for everyone else, but drove me nuts.

Good luck with your night!

Nomads Rugby Club (1981-1986)..homeground..Granville Oval (out near parramatta) which also acted as Parramatta Speedway..so the committee arrived Saturday Morning and had to pick up broken bits off speedway cars and bikes.

Started out as a combination of the fading Teachers Rugby Club and myself and mates from Armidale Teacher's College.

Started with 2 sides in sub-districts (with a dilapidated clubhouse, an illegal bar and 3 illegal poker machines and a Treasurer who had links with "the mob"..explaining our fortnightly Prawn & Porn nights)..the club grew rapidly into 4 senior grades, 2 colts teams and 2 women's hockey teams.

Then came RANDOM BREATH TESTING.

Our ground being in an industrial area saw most players hAving to drive to training and staying for a drink(or 15) after training and games became hazardous.

Players drifted off into neighbourhood teams with anumber playing for Camden Rugby Club.

I ended up in Wagga playing for Wagga City Rugby Club and my brother is and has been President of Wagga City for the last 8 years.

Over half the Quiz Night Tables have been sold now. See Andy Hatvani on Saturday to secure yours. You've gotta be in it to win it.
