we would like to see a different format for the league cup for next year.I personally believe that playing 8 games on top of a busy schedule is frankly too much.people might argue that brings extra revenue to clubs but don't know, after you payed referees expenses how much money you have got left on a cold night where there are only 30 people watching and 6 champions league games on telly.on the positive side it gives you a chance to give a game to some youngsters and fringe players(hi kaiser grin) but in a week where you have got fa vase or fa cup matches i would rather have more time to prepare those games and also avoiding unnecessary injuries(3 last night).look at our opponents Stanway,no mid week game and chance to prepare their players properly for a prestigious cup game(plus watching opposition as well...not a lot last night anyway devil).Anyway,just a thought and don't start throwing stones!after all,i know what i would do on a tuesday night with chelsea and liverpool on telly...go and watch the burnham brasilians!ha ha biglaugh

Thankyou Cantos... grin

I have missed your ramblings Coachie. I think its good that we have more games.

Would much rather play games than train. I think I speak for every player in saying that.

Loved it last night when you shouted;

"I want to see what he has done... Let me see!" when our physio said one of your players couldnt carry on!

It was as if you was his mum!!!

coach in an ideal world wed have more teams in the league and therefore have more midweek league matches. perhaos if thats your thoughts you should be grateful of the league cup because you can rotate in it as not as important league!

well,i would rather train and recover the injured players.The FA talks about overuse injuries,professionals moan about playing every 3 days and that little ESL player,after a tough day at work(that's not your case Smallsy!lol! grin)has to go and play a football match on a freezing winter night.we want more quality and less quantity.that's all. crazyand don't tell me that 30(or 8) people through the gates you can make a profit!did you see the referees fares! bigshock

coach if you didnt have midweek games and you are not paying players your turnout at training would be kwango. plus all the boys that are there would rather be playing a game then doing doggies. you say youd rest them but if you dont have a game midweek tuesday is 9 times out of 10 running of some sort.
