in the FACUP Score Anyone ?

Well, seeing as Wimborne Town FC got thumped in the FACUP on Saturday has anyone any news about my old home town club score ?

 

Is it good news as you may all still be in the bar, or are you just drowning the collective sorrows ?

2-2 AET. Town went through on penalties. I understand Rudi Hall and Bryan Hammatt were the Town scorers in normal time and after a bad start to the shoot out Town eventually went through. Bring on the Borough!

wemberly, wemberly. It's quite difficult to get to if you go via Baker Street but less so if you go via Stanmore but nevertheless its rubbish to drive to but we're on the way to wemberly, wemberly etc. etc. ad nauseum

I thought that we were well worth the win over 90 minutes (on posession and chances), and that we played some very tidy football at times. Both sets of players tired in extra time, and there were far fewer chances for either team to win it. I think that the outcome of the shootout was a fair reflection of how well we played on the night, so well done to Charlie for making that key save at the end. Let's hope that we see plenty more of the same over the rest of the season... last night we were hard working, organised and most importantly tried to pass the ball as much as possible, which was most pleasing.

After reading Rothwells website yesterday (they thought Enfield Town played in Essex and fancied turning us over in the replay),i'm delighted we dumped them out of the FA cup.
