at Dorking FC the board and management need to be more honest with the public and probably more honest with themselves.

All the hyperbole at the start of the season, top six/ promotion side, dont need any of last years players, top sponsorship deals, excellent youth set up, club on sound footings etc., it just makes them look daft now.

Dorking FC hasnt been unlucky for ninety odd minutes of 9 games, all is not well at Meadowbank and its time for people at the club to admit that. Perhaps then they will get some support from the town and things can turn round.

I look forward to either a bit more honesty in the Dorking Ad tomorrow or a bit more probing from the reporter.

I expect a bit of lazy journalism though, Manager is looking foward to kick starting the season in the FA vase, bit of luck and a few players back and a good run well move up the league blah blah.

I sat on the bench last night and had to watch that shower of

sh-it game last night. The pitch was crap, and Dorking were crap too. The only light entertainment was the Dorking gobs behind the bench giving the officials grief the whole game!!

If Dorking do have a bit of money they need to spend it on some half decent players or it will be CCL 1 for them next year. That would be a low point in Dorkings history.

Bit harsh Johnno, didn't think Dorking were too bad second half. Had you rocking a little at 2-2 and who knows what would have happened if the no.9 had stayed on. Your first goal was nicely worked. Less of the 'gobs behind the bench' as I was one of them!! (only yelled at the linesman and ref a few times though grin). The lady linesman on the other side was fine (she did the Guildford game last Tuesday as well). The bloke on our side was just an idiot, must have thought he was on telly!

You're right about CCL1 beckoning though from what i've seen so far. Was only 12 or 13 years ago that Dorking were in the Ryman Prem (equivalent of Blue Square South now) so it's a long fall from grace....

Hey Wembers, why dont you actually tell it how it was,

our centre half got sent off for 2 yellows, the first one was nothing but 50/50 ok yes the other two were deserved but JB was elbowing in every challenge he made, the referee actually saw a punch in the face on one of our players, had a chat to the lineman and did nothing, but when your assistant manager threatens to stab our keepers for warming up on the pitch is that alright then, i really cant understand how you ended up with 11 on the pitch at the end, both sides were guilty of it all the second half but only one was punished every time.

Be honest Wembers not silly

Dont mean to be harsh TRS. When ur benched to give some other lads a run out and to then watch us play so poorly and not even close to our potential then my frustration is quite high. We were lucky to get away with a win last night.

The plus for Dorking was that there 2nd half was far better than the first and if they can sustain that level for 90 mins then they may get a decent run together. Some of your players attitudes and aggression levels need to be addressed though. Who knows what the final score would have been if the sending off had not happened???? You certainly were on top!!

Hope you werent the 'gob' behind the bench that our manager hit with the subs signs. He threw the subs signs in the air in relief when we got the winner. 1 of them hit a spectator on the head!!!! Ooops!! argue

Nope, thought that was going to turn nasty for a mo. He seemed more worried about his mobile though! Did you see what happened at the end - I think the same guy came on and started pushing & shoving?

He wasnt too happy about being hit on the head. I was ready to step in and throw him over my shoulder to protect the manager. Found his phone for him though instead. He was obviously related to the boy who got sent off. He ran on giving it the big one!!!

The No 9 started on our Centre back in the changing rooms but all calmed down in the end!

We played Bedfont Green last Tuesday and the Bedfont Green Big Time Charlie midfielder who supposedly played for Macclesfield last season told me during the game that he had a gun in the boot of his car and was going to shoot us all!!! I then proceeded to ask him weather he possibly had a good penalty in his boot too as he'd just missed one against us. He then offered our whole squad outside for a fight - him against us all!!!!

We thought it was just us that he didnt like until he started offering his team mates outside too and then slagging off their mothers!!

Nice person!!! Quite liked him

Seems trouble follows you round Johnno!!!!! any connection there I wonder.

So it was a supporter who came on at the end and had to be restrained, I thought it was the 9 dog who got sent off coming on.

Yeah, i thought he must be linked to the no.9 as he got really agitated when he was sent off. I thought he was going to come on the pitch at that point and lamp the lino! Not been impressed with the 9, as for the size of him he doesn't put himself about enough and whinges the whole game.

I am telling it like it is u have no disipline, and if ur making comments like the surrounding area is a shithole, and refs are afraid because they think they're in a warzone that sort of blinkered attitude is going to filter through to ur players. Alas it did and u got three of them sent off, u actually spoke to our assitant manager asking where to warm up and after being told you still warmed up on the pitch, re: threatening to stab you i wasn't around to hear anything as such so that's ur word against his as for us not challenging for the title ur entitled to ur opinion cheers! to be honest ur centreback with the dodgy knee strap should of got sent off for his first challenge cus we went up for a header and as we came down he punched me in the back of the head, good luck for the rest of your fruitless season!

Wembers the ref was scared coz he might of got stabbed, and i can assure you Bedfont will achieve a far lot more than wembley this season, your expected to challange bedfont are expected to finish last, well you will not finish in the top 4 and bedfont will finish in the top half and yes it is my opinion.

Displine to lack i must admit but to bite your lip on son many bad calls by the ref is very fustrating im looking forward to the rematch anyway got to leave it on a good note good luck for the rest of the season.

yeh yeh wembers your assistant manager actually opened the gate to the back 40 minutes before kick off and to be honest mate i have not mentioned anything about challenging for any titles so cant helpthere i'm afraid and if our centre back should have been sent off for first challenge for punching then so should the bates boys as they were guilty of that too. all i am saying mate is that you tried to paint the picture that you lot were whiter than white which you was far from, the result aside it was a game when both teams could and should have lost men, all i am saying is it was harsh that the referee did not see both sides and he wasnt helped from his linesmen
