Missed The First Two Goals

Yes, I was stuck on the M25 for three hours on Saturday...in case any of you were wondering.

It normally only takes me 45 minutes from where I live.

Very embarrassing being 'heckled' as I climbed up the ladder to the gantry just as the first goal was going in !

 

The second goal went in just as I turned the camera on. All I got was the P.A. guy announcing the scorer and the crowd cheering.

Got the rest of the match though.

 

I have sent the tape in to Setanta for this Friday's highlights show, but whether they show it with two goals missing is another matter.

 

If Graham S (or anybody else) managed to get the first two goals on their mobile phones (or whatever they use), they can post them on here if they want ! (Strictly a one-off though...hopefully).

Presumably the issues over payment have been resolved then?

 

Cant see why they wouldnt show the goals you did film there were still more goals there than in any other game that day!

Blimey Cameraman, we delay the game for you for half an hour and your still miss some of it.

Not entirely.
What's happening now is that the club are paying me extra to film for Setanta as well as the Team Managers (under instructions to do so from the Conference), but then it's still unfair on the club to have to do that when Setanta only show six seconds of each goal on their highlights programme and no other bits of action at all !
Compare that to what Conference TV showed last season. (At least 5 minutes highlights of each game).

The Farsley/Halifax cameraman was paid by both those clubs to send his footage in to Setanta and they 'lost' his tapes two weeks running and didn't show the footage at all.

This is why Setanta (or the Conference) should be paying us and not the clubs.

Perhaps you should just send them your duck tape , which led to you missing the second goal ???
