ETFC goes international!

Huwey, Luwey and Duwey represented ETFC over in Wales this weekend and came away with the championship winners medals. Not only did they play as a team, they even had a home lad join them who by the end of the tournament was well and truly over the limit to drive.

The weather didn't faze our intrepid trio and they answered all that was put in front of them. What an advert for ETFC!

By the way. I am talking about the three musketeers who went to play golf and ended up winning the annual village quiz night!

International! Well there were contestants there from the Isle of Wight! smile

About the Potomac River

Washington Monument and Tidal Basin.

The Potomac River is often referred to as the "Nation's River," because it flows through the nation's capital, where the magnificent monuments of the Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln memorials are reflected in its waters.

I did say that I knew it was somewhere in the USA!

Fastest unmotorised sport. Skydiving indeed. Even faster if the parachute doesn't open!

So those are two I got wrong. What about the 50 I got right!

Forgot about the quote of the week by a guy sitting at the next table. 'I thought about joining your table but you all looked dim!' ETFC showed him up.

He also told us that whilst in Neasden many years ago, he was riding his motorbike along the A406, saw a heap of bikers in the middle of the road, and rode straight into them! And he thought we were dim!

Mind you thats not as bad as the table of Isle of Wight ramblers (thats the table with the lady who you kept spinning your best chat up lines too!) who claimed Maggie Thatcher was in Dallas!

Other than that credit where credit is due, well done Chalkie!!!

Do you know what? I completely forgot to type in the fact that I did give at least 50 wrong answers as well. Silly me!

And that I came a valiant third in the Wales Series Golf tournament to 'Rock Steady Eddie' and Gary 'The Player'!

Silly post really, but what good fun.
