Nice, the A side that Kyle's in has some very good young players too, my boy needs to catch up as it's his 1st year but the side looks good and they play for each other and know their positions, good to see it wasn't heard football.

Nice. Too much organisation in the mini game though. At U7, 8, 9 + 10 it should be about fun and all enjoying themselves. When we lost on Saturday one of the parents stormed off in a huff. One of the parents of the other team just constantly appealed for everything and then started shouting at the team to get organised. I laughed and told him they were all 8 and let them have fun. He said "It is still about winning"

Nothing wrong with wanting to win but not over and above education of the boys.

Hope your boy is enjoying it.

Yes I agree with that, enjoyment at this age is very important.

I tried to encourage the boys and help them with their positioning. Stayed behind and watched the B team and one of their opposition dad's was screaming and shouting at the boys, going way over the top. My 1st time I had seen such a thing and thought he was going to explode !!!

All this talk of AB's ! It might get certain posters backs up ! I get the impression yoof talk ain't too popular wiv sum of 'em !

The D's Under 14's girls got stumped 6-0 away, but with a depleted squad. (Grrrr !)

My new squad of Under 18 Girls, (Mole Valley Chix - Does that qualify for AB's at Under 18 ?), lost 1-2 to a well established side from Hertfordshire. We were 1-0 up, but their experience told in the end. Should really have taken a point each, but for a first match ever as a squad after forming them in the summer, I woz well impressed !
