Does anyone know when we last scored 8 goals in a competitive match?

Shows that yesterdays win was a FAC club record win and 8 goals have never been scored in a FA cup, vase or trophy match

According to my aged Non League directory our record win in all competitions was 11-0 at Stansted in May 76.

It is with much regret that I chose not to attend that match in May 76 for some reason ! GRRR... But I was at New Lodge to see us put NINE past Chingford in an Essex Senior Cup (?) tie two years later and then do the same versus..GASP... Chelmsford City in the same (?) competition in the mid-90's. BTW, as this is "one for the stattos" did anyone else notice that we've stuck FOURTEEN goals past teams wearing claret and blue in just TWO games this season ?! Chesham United will be quaking in their boots if they draw us in one of the cups later this term...
