Macca was different class. Made some absolutely outstanding saves.

 

We definitely did not embarrass ourselves, and we did well to keep it down to only 5-0.

After going 2-0 down inside 11 minutes, it could have been a cricket score.

 

Chelmsford were unreal. Shocked they don't walk the Ryman Prem with the talent they have.

Minton was pulling the strings in the middle of the park.

Ricky Holmes was a complete terror all game.

Kezie Ibe was an absolute nightmare. He is so strong and quick!

 

Was a great day though, and something all of our young side will learn from and remember.

 

How about you guys. How were Harlow?

Harlow (if full side) no were near Chelmsford in abilty.

 

we should have one,just could not score even if we had been out there all week.I missed to headers,one from six yards out in first min, would maybe had been a diffrent story if that had gone in!

 

The lads played superb and was so proud to be part of it. We were cutted at end as we thought we should have got something.

hansen dont comment on a game you never saw.

penalty was stone wall the keeper wiped out little pevers no arguments. sending off was for kicking out, following letter of law thats a red card.

as for the football we completely dominated hullbridge. they werent even in the game. they were given a masterclass from the bowers boys at how to play football the beautiful way. i thank you bow grin

in the evening echo today it says " an understrength hullbridge side " and goes on to mention the referee giving Bowers all the decisions.

Who do you reckon put that report in . more coachie spin doctoring !!

hullbridge didnt spring more then 2 passes together. it was like an exhibition game for the bowers lads. bowers = ESL globetrotters. we was spraying 50 yard passes back to the keeper just to keep possession.
