I bet there are a few people on the terraces (and on this site) who are well pissed off tonight. Especially the gits who stand behind me who took precisely one minute to start slagging Chukki off!

 

Chikki was pretty awesome!

 

Mind you Coleman did pretty well off the bench and Nade deserved a goal.

 

Bollas had one of his better games too with a wonderful finish for his second.

 

The defence?

 

Well lets just say that I enjoyed the game as a whole!

 

Full credit due to Kidders though who really went for it and their front two looked as good a pairing as I've ever seen at this level.

I can. Liam! lure Scott Tynan back. I am of the opinion that Lance is a bit to timid when defending his area. Disappointed with his performance when the other guys played so well. Slasher was up for it with some long great balls through the channels and quick recoveries. Liam must have read Chukki (pity he couldn't get his hattrick)the riot act before the match. Deserved MOM with Opinel close second Imo.

Sasha was excellent, as he usualy is when he concentrates on playing the ball and doesn't lose his rag, but I thought Chukki deserved m.o.m. for the effort he put in.

Don't hate the phone Gary it's just you need to use it to make pointless comments, when you're not in front of your computer we're normally safe, now that you have that we're not.

Anyway thank God everyone else made Sacha their M.O.M as he was also mine, I thought making him my M.O.M would get me banned after Chukies performance.

Today was a great game I don't think our defending was too bad, it wasn't awful.

The whole team deserved a big pat on the back after that.

Well dull it wasn't and to those who stayed away...serves them right for missing this one.

 

At 3-0 we were comfortable and at 4-1 they looked as though they had accepted defeat but then we imploded and it became like the Southport and Stafford games last year where the opposition seemed likely to score every time they attacked, luckily we had the benefit of a lead and a late goal by the briefly impressive Luke Coleman to see us home.

 

It was diffcult to see what was wrong defensively from the Plough end, maybe Lance was not at his best and people will say that we should have bolstered the defence and letting a 3 goal lead (almost) slip is unprofessional...etc, etc. Maybe so but hey-ho its 3 points and we're back to winning ways and scoring.

 

No argument with Chukki as MOM my pick was Sasha with DeBolla, Long (non-stop) and the quietly assured McPhee mentioned in dispatches.

 

Nade...looked to run out of steam second-half and had at least 3 good scoring opportunities and chose to pass on one occasion when it was easier to shoot.
